RE: Almost collided with a Lady on a Mobility Scooter.
We were watching tv when a jazzy commercial comes on and they show them doing something really stupid. I'm senile so I don't remember what it was. I can remember her saying that those scoots are a nightmare in the supermarkets. They'll take the middle of the aisle and not yield an inch. ROFs Rude Old Farts???[:@]

Old people tend to feel they don't have to look where they are going. They feel they have enough seniority on the road that you will adapt to overcome their style. I see it quite often. Back out of the driveway without looking anywhere with the gas mashed down. I pray everyday I will not be like that.

Worst part was, they stayed there for at least 20 seconds as the woman driving was turned halfway back in her seat yelling at one of the kids thatwas in the back. Stopped traffic on both sides. [:@]
Wish people would exercise more common sense.

I went home at luch today to get my bike ...(It was icky in teh morning and they said it might rain...They lied so I went back for my bike )
I'm getting ready to make a right on to the freeway in the outside lane (a second turn in for the HOV lane from the main road, not a turn lane) and though I see the lady sitting there I thought she would stay on the curb since I was the last vehicle in her path.
Nope. She looked me right in the eye just as I started the turn and started across. I had to straighten and stop on a dime to avoid her. She didn't even turn her head to look...thank god there were no cars behind me.
Sometimes you just wonder what people are thinking.
