Default Break in procedure

What is the proper break in procedure for a Brand new Road King with2 miles on speedometer. I've heard the first 50 miles are critical. Then the first 1000. Any expert opinions?

We kicked all the experts off the board....they act like they know everything.

Just ride it easy...vary your speed and load and change the oil on time.

Like any other Harley. Ride it normal for the first 500 miles, don't dogg it too slow and not too fast. Ride at different speeds. The ECM is going through a learning cycle. It will usually take and read a steady function around 200 miles.

I think for the first 50 miles you are not to go over 50mph and vary your speed. Then ride with a varied speed and rpm with no red lines and change oil.Enjoy the new ride after the first 50 it gets much better.
