Thank you to all....he was a Nam Vet, a Marine, a Patriot born in Corinth Mississippi. Four years ago he was in Alabama heading to Talladega raceway when a truck pulled out on him and he T-Boned it. Miss Sandra and I went that day and night to get him. He was rashed up with a broken bone in his left hand, banged up head with bruises on his legs and elsewhere. Man he sure was a mess. One tough little Marine I tell ya!! His Harley went to the Harley dealer in Birmingham for repairs and a month later we took him back to get his scooter and hauled it back here to Michigan. Took about two years for his head to get right. The head trauma he received this time was to severe.... he didn't make it. It looks like he didn't negotiate a curve in the road and lost it. Him and the bike were about 75 feet apart in a field. The sissy bar and crash bar were both bent forward which tells me he maybe went in back asswards. Anyway thank you all again. Doug

I have always felt if I die on a bike, at least I will have a big sht eaten grin on my face from riding right beforehand . . . . and I'm ok with that. Since I was a young kid I have loved motorcycles. If we are going to 'go out' what better way to do it than doing something we love? Hopefully your pal had that same grin on his face that's in the photo. I'm sure you will miss him. Take care.
