What temperature do you ride in?

RE: What temperature do you ride in?
It is snowing outside. I was hoping it was gone for the year. But I still ride in it. Why not? I will ride in most all temps but add wind and rain. I will drive the mustang.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! I'm sitting here in Texas where it decently warm, and dang near froze to death just reading this thread!!!!!!! I can't believe some of the temps you people have to bear just to enjoy your scooter! Around here, if you don't like the weather, wait a couple of days and it's guaranteed to change. I prefer to ride in over 50 deg weather, and with this year being an exception, that is usually year around with the addition of some precipitation from time to time. BRRR!!!! I'm getting out of this thread to go warm up! Cya!

Heehee. Picked up my steed from the dealer 20 miles away this afternoon. Of course I had to check it out to make sure it was running ok. So I rode around for about an hour and a half. It was 32 degrees with 20mph winds. IT was great.

I live in MN, I ride until there is snow and ice. In the spring I usually don't put a lot of miles on until after one good rain to get the salt and sand off the road. I don't have a problem riding in the teens, when it gets 0 I will probably take the truck though.
A good day to ride is usually a sunny day over 40.

28 is the coldest I have rode in, that was on my way to work (20 miles) for a sunny and 65 -70 degree ride home I try to ride above 40 degrees, that is tolerable without heated gear.

I don't like riding in the rain... half helmet, no windshield... hurts like a ****....if it wasn't for the little pinpricks of the rain on my face, I wouldn't mind it too much.
Except the roads can kick up a lot of dirt on to ur bike in every nook and cranny when it rains. A pain to wash out all the time.
I don't own any heated gear yet, but I will soon(even tho it's spring here and weather is damn good)..lookn for that off season discount, just like I got my bike in December when it was pouring buckets of rain.

My S/O and I ride all year round here in the northeast with our Gerbings jacket liners, gloves and overpants. Ice on the ground or forecast is the only thing that stops us.

Was in the low 20s on my way to work this morning. Since it's a short ride (about 15 minutes or so on the highway), I don't bother with the heated gear on cold days like this. So of course, I was a friggin' popsicle when got to the office! I'm sure the windchill at 70 mph is below zero.
Cheers!
