Default This day almost ALL sucked

RANT ON...Wife and I decided to go for a ride this morning so she starts to get ready (gotta give her an hour, but she takes more!) so I went on the Ride Planner to set up something with back roads and twisties...We decided to go to MT Wachusett, here in Mass. So I mapped out the route, put in the waypoints to ensure that if the GPS recalculates, it stays on my route and not on the highway route. Had it all done and it crashed...Did it all over again...Named it incorrectly, brought it to the bike ('14 Ultra) downloaded it and was very confused with the last download. Went back to the MAC...renamed it again, brought it down and got it in...It took about 45 minutes for a simple effing route plan!. Now I thinks I gots it all ready so, I start to read up on autotune/PV Users guide..I obviously wanted to enable AT (for the first time) SO..I follow the directions...step by step, inch by inch until it says turn the key off and wait ten seconds...Ok, so I wait 10 Seconds and it's "Enabled"!...

So off we go....down the road, over the hill, to grandma's house lol...The GPS started recalculating almost immediately..and did it for miles and miles. Some of my way points were a little off and it tried to send me down the wrong streets to hit the way points. At about this time i'd like to hit the ffing unit and go home. So I decided to ignore it and go the way I remembered when I created the route in the Route Planner...We must have stopped about 3-4 times to get our bearings...So an hour goes by and I decided to pull over to shut off the AT..I disabled the AT and waited till I got home to look at it again...WELL...I didn't go to the next page to see that you actually have to start an AT session...SO that was a waste..the GPS was a waste..but the view on the mountains we ok...I'm about ready to return the bike with a big hole in the Entertainment fffin system....END of RANT!

I hope not. That would be tragic.

Wow, I thought this was going to about real issues with the bike not your inability to comprehend your owners manual. I do have a cheap GPS for work, enter the destination follow the directions and I get their every time.

Sad. My "infotainment" is listening to the pipes and watching the scenery go by.

No GPS, no infotainment center what ever it is. Just a $4 paper map.

Glad neither of my Zumo 660's are that complicated and difficult to use. I love getting off course and always have shortest route selected which usually makes for an adventurous ride. My buddy has his always set for fastest route which tends to be boring most of the time.

Hi Scott...The infotainment info in my post is not in any manual...Unfortunately, as far as the AT as Bob Seger said..."Turn the Page"
