So, I have proof that it runs. Videos and such, but I can't for the life of me, get them to post. Any suggestions?

Wow that's a surprise that a dealer would have parts. HD shows shovelparts as extinct in my neck of the woods. I do have a local shop that specializes in shovels.

I use dropbox.com you can store and share stuff from there. It can back up your phone pics too if you want it to.

Tech tip and please heed this one it's critical for that bike. The rear pipe broke because it wasn't mounted up and supported well enough , aside from breaking like that they tend to either strip out the bolt hole going into the heads or worse case actually chip off a part of the flange. Repaired more than I care to remember .

Whatever pipes you use please make sure the rear of them are well supported together and tied into the rubber mounting bushing. FXR's will spit one in heartbeat if they aren't done right.

So, stay away from the shotgun drag pipes?

Oh they will work just make sure the are mounted up solidify & straight. Shovelheads will give you fits with pipes if they aren't and FXR's being rubber mounted and bouncing around in the frames take a little more care getting them right.
