ORIGINAL: Whiskers

ORIGINAL: Peekaboo Bob

I was walking towards the restroom at a Cracker Barrel in Pueblo, CO when a lady came out of the women's bathroom with her 8 y/o daughter. When she saw me, she gasped audibly, and with a look of sheer terror in her eyes, executed a 90 degree escape maneuver that would of made a UFO proud. I about died laughing.
PeekaBoo: Ya' think this had anything to do with her reaction?

Last weekend the wife and I took a little ride we had pulled into this gas station to get a drink and candy bar. As we were sitting there other bikers were comming and going on their way home from Sturgis. There was this one coulpe from San Deigo real nice people but had the total biker look, with patches and colorson their vests. We talked to them for about 15 minutes. Now my wife has been sheltered all her life and I dont think she would have talked to this coulpe normaly, but after we left she mentioned to me how nice they were and we laughed how the other customers reacted to all of us.

My wife and Ihave a blast with this, we walk into a expensive resturant, my wife in chaps, leather halter top and me etc. the reactions are incredable. All these people in suits and dresses, dressed to the nines and in we come. Its so fun to watch the stares and reaction to us. Funny though if we were dressed in buisnees clothes it would be ok. I can afford the prices of these places so screw em, if they can not accept that we ride and dress for it. Its still alot of fun and we are going to keep doing it. Best one yet is when we went to a place next to a opera house you would think the people saw ghost.

I know what you are describing because I have that experience a few times a year. Not sure what to attribute it to but I always am exceptionally courteous to car drivers when I am on my bike.

i ride with my dad along side and mom on his ultra quite a bit, every so often we have some friends ride together as well. one thing i ALWAYS notice is that when we walk into a restaurant / diner / eating establishment, we always get sat in the very back of the business. doesnt matter if im alone, with a buddy, with my parents. as long as we have some kinda gear on or just a tshirt with harley on it they parade us through the restaurant. does this happen to anyone else? i had to prove it to some riding buddies this past year and always went somewhere different and never failed.
