It just happened to me today! I stopped at some place for lunch and this guy stands with the door open the whole time I'm walking accross the parking lot, waiting for me. I almost started laughing in his face because I had just read this thread before I left.

I have found that whilealone it has not happened as often as when there are the 4 or 5 [ or more] of us who ride together . Then sometimes it is funny as hell, We have had people park on the other side of the parking lot at "7-11" just to stay away from us. Like wow I'll leave my 20K plus Bike here to steal your rat box car. Or grab your little girl and molest her in the parking lot. [ that one pisses me off].
We actually had one run back to his car and lock it, After he had left it running while the bunch of pulled in .

I was walking towards the restroom at a Cracker Barrel in Pueblo, CO when a lady came out of the women's bathroom with her 8 y/o daughter. When she saw me, she gasped audibly, and with a look of sheer terror in her eyes, executed a 90 degree escape maneuver that would of made a UFO proud. I about died laughing.

What I like to do when someone in their car is being overpolite or is obviously scared of me is let another car go in front of me, wave someone by, be extra polite to show them that not all bikers are rude. They always have a shocked look on their face when that happens. And by the way, I can't get cut off in traffic if I let them in.
