I have 2003 Dyna Wide Glide it has the anniversary silver and black. I need to replace all of the tins because the previous owner dented every tin on it. Question is can I orderd the orginal tins from Hd? Or do I need to find a person to painter to do it. Does anyone have any good painters that is capable of doing just like the factory paint?

 

You'd have to find someone with a good reputation in your area, but yes, its definitely possible. A good body shop can pull the dents and re-paint.

As for going to Harley for new ones, I don't know. Drop into your dealer and see.

 

Very expensive. Getting ready to start putting back my '03 FXDL with the Gunmetal Pearl paint and trying to find that tank is all but impossible. Think I saw a set of tins on ebay for your bike and seemed they were around $2,500.00. Don't think they had ever been on a bike. Beautiful. But...... Good luck whatever you do.

 

My buddy did them in NJ he has the matching sticker so it looks 100% like stock u can never tell.. And I'm picky

Yes, you can get new tins straight from HD. Ask me how I know. When I had my accident, my bike was as old as yours and they just ordered the replacement tins and 6 weeks later, they were on the bike. If you order tins from the factory, you can get any color combination you want. It's really nice. You pick the color(s), the color of the pin stripes, and any graphic you want. I ended up changing the pin stripe color combo and the tank graphic when I got mine. The anniversary colors are available only as replacement of original anniversary bikes. You can't turn your standard color bike into a anniversary color combo, but if it was a anniversary to begin with, you can replace them.
