Yep and sometimes the " retirement " process could be a bit hard on the owner, all depended on your standing in the club and where you fell in the politics .... . Mine hung in a brothers closet till he passed , lost track after that.

After over 35 years of dry rotting. I think I was able to salvage 3 of them.

Dam mud wasps took over quite a bit. I had what was left of my **** hanging in a metal wardrobe out on the side porch.

I wouldn't do ink , grew up with the motto " no identifying marks " a few of the upper members saw the logic in having a " gray guy " around that didn't stand out. Tougher cause you where always having to prove something to the caveman types.
