This afternoon upon exiting the Capitol Beltway and traveling East on a 5 lane highway, my FLHTCU was cruising around80 when the earth exploded with 4 "friggin Crotch-Rockets" weaving through traffic at the speed of sound. My bike shook and the friggin sound of those bikes scared the **** out of me. Dang they were flying! One minute they were there and the next gone.

 

Amazing that some continue to ride like that, they don't realize the risks they put everyone else in.

 

Heading up to the mountains -I could see 3 rice rockets approaching at high speed (i'm doing 70) and the split up and pass me on both sides - at over 100 - one riders plastic touched my fairing. Bout crapped myself - later at the bar - the guy's bike fell over - go figure ...my size 12 helped....

If they live that long, they don't call Crotch-Rockets "Organ Donation Bikes" for nothing

 

Yeap one day those "Organ Donors" are going to end getting scooped up by a shovel in a bucket for the medical exmainers. That's the choice you make when you choose to ride like a @ss and put the public in danger. You know after all we do have tracks and closed courses for that type of riding. I'll get off my soap box it just bothers me cause I'm the one who end's up calling the parent or loved one to inform them of what happened. Just as Pgirl said that's why we ride Harleys!

 

I rolled into Pappy's Roadhouse one nite,,,,parked next to 2 Crotch Rockets,,,,Picked up a set of keys laying next to one,,,,gave them to the guy,,,they left,,,the place was dead,,,I left,,,rolled up on a sh*t load of meat wagons and cops,,,,look over and their scraping him and his bike off someones frount porch...I kinda felt responsable,,,sorta kinda,, for at least for 3min's.

 

I love how we Harley ridersbitch about others doing wrong on bikes. Most of us ride all day , no helmets, no jackets , and we ride right out to the bar have a few , then go to another bar. ( I know none of us do that! ) I also read in the paper about more crusier guys going down the Sport riders. True there are more crusiers out there but there are more rookies on crusiers AKA weekend worriors. So who's worse ? By the way I also ride "crotch rockets" when I am not riding my Davidson .
