Nah, I don't think personalized plates on bikes are cool at all. 
My intitials are LF. I obviously have L on my bike. I'm trying to get FBOMB on my car. If that doesn't work, I might get REDJET. (The car is red).

Actually - people around here drop a dime on you if the see you do anything on a bike - it would make it easier to figure out who is who. Usually the cops are looking for a bike by color and rider by helmet color. Got chased a few times on my DRZ supermoto until the police would just wait at my house. You should of seen the looks on their faces when I showed up with a different color helmet on...
and didn't get a ticket...
