My experience with my ACC DOT is that the wind noise is less then no helmet. I also have the ear covers and chin pad though. At high speeds generally over 60mph I need to have ear plugs. I usualy cheat and use a MP3 player with ear plug headphones.
The Helmet is great I had to adjust and play with liners to get it to fit correctly. My head is more egg shaped. But after playing with it I got it to fit comfy. Love this helmet.

 

Well, just a few minutes ago, I received the helmet for the fourth try. Guess what?










It fit perfectly. Looked perfect. Finally get to keep one to use.

 

I ordered my first helmet from ACC back in Feb of last year. non-DOT extended half in black candy. Loved the fit and how it felt while riding, but never could get used to the color. Called them up after having and wearing it riding every day for a month, and they told me to send it back and they would replace it. No questions asked. Even let me change the style to the German helmet. I love it! I'm one of those guys that drilled a hole in it and put on a spike.


My wife decided that she wanted one after they came out with the DOT Polo style helmet. Ordered her one and got myself another non-DOT half helmet (in the color I like) and we are both happy as pigs in....

Great customer service, great people to deal with all around. They can consider me a customer for life also.

I orderd the dot half helmet moday..morning..tuesday night i had a package at the door,,,1 day shipping...tried it out today for the first time & love it,,it is very light wieght..fits good,,not to big ,& looks good...good luck to all
