I'd have to go for the '07. No miles 96" motor and a 6 speed. That's worth the $3000 difference right there. And you get to put the accessories that YOU want on the bike. But that's just me.

 

I agree with Jake88, there is nothing wrong with buying used. I've purchased 4 used Harleys and have never regretted any of them. I just the other day bought a used 02 RKC because of all the bling-bling that the previous owner had put on it. But, that said, I agree with most everyone else here, 3000 dollars is not a good enough difference for 2 years and 23k miles.

Thanks for all your opinions and info. I was kinda leaning away from the '05, especially when I found out it has 23,000 mi., when I originally thought it has 2,300 mi. The goodies are nice, but most are not immediately necessary. At $14,500 its not as good a deal as I first thought. The dealershipdidn't impress me much either. Though they seem like nice people, they are extremely disorganized and the sales person was not very knowledgable about the bikes. Like UltraUltra, this bike will technically be the wifes....but that won't stop me from riding her. (the bike that is)
