The J & S is $300.00 plus shipping & handling , but compare that to a $20,000.00 + machine , u can lift with confidence ..[sm=smiley20.gif]

Not sure where you are located but here in Canada try www.tonsoftools.caGo to their this months special section. A lift table for 379 seems really good from what I have seen elsewhere

A friend of mine that I ride with is going by harbor freight this afternoon to take a look at their lift, something for us to get started with, untill I can get my shop built then I can get one of the big boy lifts.

Just buy the Craftsman Pro Yellow one from Sears. It's worth the extra $80 morecompared toall the other cheap ones at Sears or Harbor Freight or Sams or wherever. It's much lighter, goes lower and fits under any bike on it's jiffy stand and itis better constructed then all the cheap ones and comes completely assembled.

Nothing but J & S for me--$300. No way I'm gonna roll my $20,000 Street Glide around on $50 worth of Chinese-made metal. If a couple of hundred $$$ matters that much to a Harley owner, I'm wondering why they wouldn't buy a $5,000 metric bike in the first place.

If I need to pull hard on a wrench, I would not trust it.
1st thing you need to do is tear off the rubber pads (because they will come off anyway if yiou dont) as the glue is not very good.
Mix up some epoxy and glue them back on (Use clamps and boards to get a good squish on the glue)
