This is a nice looking jacket. The HD site shows it as "New". Must be, first I've seen of it. Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to check itout.

Looking at the nylon mesh jacket for summer riding.

Would like opinions from anyone who has one.

Thanks,
Sammi

I just called my local dealer and they don't even have the part # in the system. The Chicago HD site doesn't have thejacket in any size. Maybe it's so new, nobody has it.

Zanotti has it.

You have to enter the size to get a hit.

I have Firstgear which is good but as someone else posted I just got the Olympia mest jacket and pants Friday. Went on a 600 mile overnight ride and really liked them. the armor is a bit better than the Firstgear and the fit and style is also better. Don't remember the website but do a search for Olympia motorycle clothing and you should find it.

I bought the Power Trip Voodoo jacket because it was recommended by forum members. It works real well in warm weather.

I also have the Tour Master Cortech Coastal Air Jacket for warm and colder weather.

I don't like it as well as the Voodoo jacket, mostly for the fit. It doesn't come down far enough in the back, which lets it ride up while you are riding.
Tom
Sammi I also bought the voodoo jacket last week and could not be more pleased. Nice price to!
Good luck

Cortech GX Air Men's Mesh Motorcycle Jacket by TourMaster:
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...amp;Division=1

I just got this jacket in the ladies version and it's awesome. I continue to be really impressed with the TourMaster products. This jacket essentially has three layers: 1) The mesh outer shell with CE rated armour at the elbows, shoulders and back; 2) a wind/rain proof nylon shell; and 3) a thinsulate-type quilted liner. Layer's 2 and 3 zip/velcro/unbutton out for maximum airflow on the really hot days and there are various adjustment tabs to customize fit and to make sure the armour stays in place where it should.

WAIT UNTIL THE END OF APRIL!

H-D Is coming out with a new redesigned jacket that has armor, way more airflow and is more functional than those they carry right now.

If you go to your local dealer as the motorclotes person to look at the latest book. The clothing is due out the end of April/early May.

I'll be getting one.

Wow....what a teaser. I was looking at the HD mesh jacket from the original post, but I'll have to see what this one looks like.

The Harley stuff is too expensive and it's not any better than other brands.
I have a First Gear (4 years old but you can get them at a great price.),and a Olympia that costs more but looks great and has a really good liner (so good you can wear it as a separate jacket.)

Try the online stores--Newenough.com has been a good source or me. http://www.newenough.com/browse/prot...d_pants?page=1

Black always looks good but it you live in a sunny climate, silver is a little cooler.
I have the same stuff, the Olympia Motosports jacket is gray/silver and the Firsgear is black and pulls over like a sweatshirt, it is als mesh all over with armour padding. I ride with either all summer with the Firstgear being used on the hottest and most humid days and if I get extremely hot I will just wear the Firstgear with no t-shist under it which is very comfortable.
