RE: Washed my bike with gas
I gave up trying to get the gas in the tank....i just stand back and aim....plus 93 octane is really good at getting tar off the lower frame.

RE: Washed my bike with gas
I had a situation a while back where the trigger on the gas nozzle kept clicking off and wouldn't pump any gas. I'd squeeze, it'd click off. I'd squeeze, it'd click off. I'd squeeze, it'd click off. I finally got it working. The tank was about full and I let off on the trigger, but it wouldn't shut off. I squeezed it several more times and it just wouldn't shut off. At this point I'm freak'n out and imagining pulling the nozzle out, spraying my bike and dumping gallons of gas on the pavement. And then at the very last second it clicks off. Whoa, close one.

Been there and done that twice, once with an accordian type nozzle which I will never use again if I can help it, and once a couple of months ago with a nozzlethat went to full on the minuteI pulled the handle.

HarleyWood, read you post last night, didn't think too much about it until today when I did the same thing. Pump running very slow until I pulled it up to have a look see, then started running full tilt. Read someone's post about dropping his bike last night, now I afeared.
