My First piece of Heated Gear
Guess I see What all the Rave is...We Left the dealer last Sat to make our 3 hour trek back home...they had 15% off all heated gear...but did not have the jacket in my size...I did get a pair of heated gloves....it was 5 pm and 42 when we left the dealer...I knew it was going to get pretty chilli once the sun went down and it was already cloudy and wet from a Rain storm that went through earlier that day...so I plugged the gloves in and made my 220 mile ride home...and wow...at some points my hands were too hot...I was chilled to the bone I must say by the time we got home....but not my hands...I really do need the whole set of gear...if the jacket and pants work as well as the gloves...no wonder folks ride all year

I've tried the heated grips by H-D and they didn't work, two different times. I installed the heat demons and they are great. I have the Gerbing heated gloves too, but it's quite a bit of prep to ride with them on, plus the glove is difficult to slide over the sleeve of the jacket. It not shaped like a gauntlet glove.

That's what i was wondering... cold already makes $hit a pain in the ***, and dealing with wiring is just something to add more frustration. So you guys think heated grips are a better choice than heated gloves?

My Buddy Rode back a Rental bike...limited with the heated grips...he said they work OK but it had to heat through his gloves to warm his hands...the heated gloves warm from inside out...yea the wire was a little pain at first...but they worked well and after a few mins riding ...never noticed the wires.....Mine are the Harley Davidson Heated Gloves..
