Default dyno power comander

Ok here it is, I just bought a new bike, well new to me, it has a lean backfire at low rs. took it to the shop that I bought it from and they said that the power commander is dead. Well I brought it home and did some test and yes it is not powering up. is this thing really worth the 300 bucks that they want to fix it?

If the Power Commander is 'dead', and your getting a lean condition as a result, then it appears there have been mods done to the bike that require more fuel. In this case $300 is a lot less than the cost of an engine death due to nuclear meltdown. Either buy a new Power Commander and map or another suitable tuner.
