Default Winter's hanging on.

Rain with flurries today and a high of about 41. That's after several days in the 70's and 60's. Supposed to start warming up again this week, but tomorrow is gonna start out COLD at about 26 degrees when I head for work. And I have to take the bike because the wife's schedule is all screwy and she'll need the truck. Broke down today and bought a Hawk full face helmet and some new gauntlets with a set of glove liners to go in them. If my fingers don't fall off, I'll be good to go. Have about 25 miles each way, on turnpikes, so speed will vary between 65 and 75 mph.

Sure will be glad when Mother Nature stops screwing with us.

We've had temperatures go from 20s to 70s at least 15 times this year. I would have rather have had total winter weather because it was supposed to be winter the last two months. This month, spring apparently can't kick winters butt.

You did good getting extra gear. I went through '78-79. It so scary similar. April will break it! Who know when? But I hope not the end of April.

I was hoping to ride next weekend.
10 day forecast predicted highs of 40, next Saturday and Sunday, and that was doable. Now forecast changed to highs of 30 and 35. That sucks for end of March. And the annoying thing is there is so little news coverage of how this winter ranks, as one of the coldest. Doesn't fit media agenda.

We are running about fifteen degrees under normal for the next ten days. The first hippie that mentions global warming to me is going to get d!ck punched.

We've had a couple days in the 50's here in western PA, but mostly it's been 20's and 30's. I wish it would just hurry up and be over with.
