Danny try those WalMart heat packs in your shirt pockets and pants pockets. If you get the large ones they will stay warm until your ride home by stuffing them in a coat until you leave. I have done some rides to work down in the 20's with no problems. It still takes that first two miles or so to get used to the air temps though. Hope the ride was okay for you today. We had minus 15, lots of ice, salt and sand on the roads. Think it will still be a while before there is any riding around here.

Last Tuesday, the 11th, I was riding around with the top down, (working). Saturday, in shirt sleeves out doing some RV shopping with the boss. Today, we are out in the driveway clearing away 8 inches of snow. No wonder people are getting sick.

Today went pretty well. New gloves and liners are better than my last pair, still, my fingers did get to the point they hurt by the time I arrived. Helmet also kept my head warmer. But the buffeting on the way home gave me a headache. Funny, didn't really notice it this morning. Maybe the shivering counter-acted it. I need to wear it to work, and then "same-day-air" it home so it will be there the next morning. I hate wearing it when it's nice in the afternoon! LOL

I was just pointing out that calling it global warming was not a right choice of names. It leads people to believe that it only means warmer weather when actually it means more severe weather. The earths climate has been in a constant state of change since the planet was formed.
