Default Grip adhesive

What's a good adhesive to keep your grips on? My throttle side grip keeps getting loose. the grips came supplied with silicone to install them, came loose after a while. Tried a second time with silicone, came loose again. Local indy recommended 3M spray adhesive, but it came loose yesterday. What works?

Believe it or not...go to a motocross race and you'll see cans of this in their pits, and it's not for making their long wavy locks beautiful for post-race interview. Clean the bar & inner grip, get some extra-hold and spray away...

Hair spray as said or spray paint. I used paint when I rode motorcross.

Why do you want to glue your throttle grip? I'm confused?

The throttle stays attached to the bars, the grip is glued onto it. I have Kury Pilot grips, and the contact area to be glued is rubber. It doesn't want to stick to metal and loosens up after rolling on and off the throttle.
