Tires
What kind of use are you bagger guys are you getting out of the factory dunlops? I got a 13 road glide with 8000 miles and I noticed a bumping feel this morning and I noticed the sidewalls on the front and rear are splitting the whole radius of the sidewall

Hope you are going to replace them soon! On my 11RGU I replaced my first tires at about 15500. The next rear tire was at 27000 and the next front was at 32000. Sounds like your tires are coming apart. Definitely time to do new ones.

I kinda envy you guys with the newer bikes with wider tires. Best I can get with my bikes is 11K. I have run Dunlop 402's (suck) and E III's that were great. Tried the Michelin Commander II's and decent but did not care for the way they handled the tar snakes. Quite the Metz 888. Prollly the best tire I have run to date.

The "experts" recommend changing car tires after 7 years regardless of mileage
I would not ride on a bike with tires over 5 years old, especially if the sidewalls are splitting or cracking.
My wife's '08 Heritage only has about 11,000 miles on it and the rear tire was replaced tow years ago and I'll have a new front tire, tube, and rub strip on it as soon as the weather breaks.

Get the bike to the dealer and contact Dunlop ASAP...that's a safety and warranty issue. If Dunlop or dealer don't want to play, contact Texas Department of Transportation, BBB, local news station. I had little over 1000 miles on front tire and it was splitting on my 13 CVO Ultra, dealer covered it!
I've got little over 11k miles rear and 10k miles on front and both (factory tires) still going good..

I bought the bike used with 4k miles on it. I am not sure if the tires were replaced prior the me buying it.
So 17000 if they didn't replace
and 13000 if they did replace
I am pretty sure that I can get through this riding season safely in all conditions with what is left on the rear.
I also do not ride super aggressively either.

Oh yes for sure these tires are coming off. It just pisses me off for what u pay for these damn bikes and for what a tire cost you would get more service out of them. It's Michelin this time never liked dunlop
