Has anyone attended this rally? What are your thoughts, thanks

 

I went a few years ago and it was good time. I like it because it isn't as crazy crowded as Daytona. We stayed in Wildwood away from the event itself. I think we'll go this year if I can get the time off and get it planned.

 

I am going this year I hear it is better than Daytona.

 

We are going this year also. Everclear is playing Saturday night. We are staying in Wildwood also. Last year stayed in Clermont off 50 and U.S. 27 at the Hampton Inn. Just 20 minutes "out of Leesburg." I think its a better time than Daytona and the prices are a lot better. The event schedule meant there was always something happening, but there was some nice riding through Ocala National Forest and around the Lakes as well. Have a blast!

 

I'm going this year too for the first time. Friends say the riding is good, we are staying in Clermont.

I plan on going. Should take me a whopping 15 minutes to get there. Maybe I'll have to come up with a "long" way of getting there so my bike can warm up.

 

Its not Daytona, but that may be a good thing to some people. But don't kid yourself, its a very large event, just not as spread out as some of the so-called majors. The residents and merchants seem to embrace it and are very friendly. They claim over 300,000 attendees, which make it a lot bigger than Biketoberfest. It is very crowded in town, but the riding outside of the immediate rally is very good. Its very popular with Florida residents.

 

I'm going, my first time, coincides with my birthday then when we leave there riding round to Panama City Beach for Thunderbeach, should be a great couple of weekends
