Default Rain gear

Looking for some cheap rain gear to keep in the bike on longer rides. Something that doesn't take up much space at all. Any recommendations? Found some online for like 40 bux but it doesn't say how small it packs and I have no idea if its any good.

I second the Frog Toggs. Been using them for fishing, hunting and now bikes for years. You have to spend $500 or so to get something that works better, but those are not near as compact when packing them.

Rain gear is definitely one of those items thats screams "You get what you pay for".
I have the more expensive HD HI Viz Rainsuit because I go on some long (over 1000mi) trips. It breath's, easy on & off & it works. Durable & it keep's you dry. If your looking for a occasional use, little rain Frogg Toggs is not a bad suit. It's what my wife use's.I rode this summer back & forth from Ohio to TN. and it frickin poured. Nice & dry in the HD suit. I'm not someone who has to have HD on everything i wear but it's just a premium suit.

I just did lots of shopping for rain gear myself. I decided on Tour Master Sentinel. The jacket and pants were under $140 from jafrum.com

I just purchased Nelson Riggs Aston 3000 Hi Viz rainsuit. It has all the features and then some of the Harley Hi Viz rainsuit. Harley Hi Viz $185.00 and 90 day warranty, Nelson Riggs Hi Viz $89.99 and a 2 year warranty. Sizing chart was spot on. As for packing I was able to put my rainsuit, 3 man tent, aircompressor and tire plug kit in one saddlebag.

60 gal heavy duty trash bags work'ed good for me for yrs, yrs ago, it will fold up tight and are cheap..

now I have had one of the HD suits, it was about $120, fold up in a little bag and its been great for 6 yrs..

Also it had reflective edges on it so it really show up at night..
