I notice the collapsed height, specs at 8.5 ". Is this correct? I am interested in getting one do to the raised height, but would like to get a lift with no more than a 8" lowered height for being able to park over top if need be. I noticed the welded bungs for the stanchion poles and wonder if this is included in the height. Would there be a way to get it to a 8" lowered height without sinking it into the floor.
