His lathe is a grizzly. Your best bet is find a nice used USA made one.
Big heavy made in the 50's kinda beast.

It's a Grizzly but harbor freight and few other places sell the same model . Picked it up used for $400 and went through it replacing all the china bearings with decent ones and tightening up some tolerances . Does fairly well if you work within it's limits and don't rush it .
Highlux good luck finding **** machine wise made in the US anymore that isn't a worn out boat anchor particularly in this part of the country .
