One thing is for certain it will never be me that gets to see anything they have hidden,we all know it has to be some serious stuff. Then there is always lots more only a radio call away if by chance backup is needed.
Think about this for a minute it is against the law for us to protect ourselves at that level but who would not want to own an electric gattling gun and a pickup truck load of ammo to feed the beast.

Regardless of whatever man is in the Office, seeing the motorcade is always pretty cool. It is one thing to see on TV and quite another to have it pass you or be in one in person.

No doubt. What's even cooler is watching them mount up at the airport. It's more secure than a lot of folks can imagine.

So the officers on the bikes were DC Metro? Or are they federal? BTW, I used to live a few blocks away where the NYC presidential motorcade vehicles are kept. Its a very non-descript warehouse in Red Hook Brooklyn. I would walk the dog past it and they always had the bay doors open in the summer. There is a basketball court inside. The SS guys that are on detail there must be bored out of their minds.

This first one is carrying donuts.
The rest contain the hopes and dreams of the American people. Notice they're empty.

I've done two SOTU details in a medical/CBRNE capacity. MPD runs the hacks, traffic detail. I've never seen anything in there except raingear. The REAL hardware is in the black Suburbans....

I've got a young friend who is with the Capitol Police and is one of those motor cops. I was talking to him last week when he was up here in NY visiting his parents. He told me they all put side cars on for the winter cause they are out on them all winter long. He also stated his M4 is strapped into the side car under the cover. BTW he states the motor cops take them home every night. His is a 60 mile commute to his home. I haven't seen the tape but I'm quite sure he was in the motorcade.

I want to know if they use BSAs in Britain, Hondas in Japan and Aprilias in Italy.

The last time POTUS was in here in Las Vegas I have watched Air Force One either land or take off and seen his motorcade drive by several times. The motorcycles used were mostly BMW's and most appeared to have California tags. Perhaps they were on loan for the events so Las Vegas wouldn't use so many of their cops to watch him?
