Are Harley Davidson Tires Made Out of Gold?...

No, I am not kidding.
I have not asked them how much they charge to top off the tires with nitrogen; I really don't want to know... I already disrespect their service department for other shady practices. But that does remind me that I want to go ask for the black caps back, for my newest bike. Don't wanna ride around looking like "that kind" of sucker all year...

Umm, my local stealership is already doing the whole "nitrogen service" thing. They even put green caps on the stems to indicate that you shouldn't put regular compressed air in them.

Nitrogen is the new "in" thing for cars and bikes, and no matter how you try to explain to people that it's a waste of money, they read somewhere of the advantages and want it!
I don't fault the dealer for meeting a demand and making a profit from it.

The only reason I have stayed with the original tires for replacement is in case when I'm on a road trip I need a tire replaced. I have heard stories about HD dealers that will only replace a damaged tire with the original and will not mix brands. One guy had to buy two tires because of this when he only needed one.I'm sure many of you have read that story on the forum.
