Default Dollars for Horses

whats a reasonable expectation for Dollars for horses, Engine work

example = $100 per 10 hp
$50 per 1 hp

So a $1,000 worth of work or upgrades would yield 100 hp roughly-

follow me? without getting to micro detailed what is a guesstimate per hp increase-would be resonable-

I understand theres variables but you know what I'm trying to get at

- work performed yourself @ /or vs workk sent out

only for people in the know- ..

The variables are vast here. Fact is, your only going to take a stock engine so far then you start losing money.
I think you can get away with approx 60hp gain on a stock engine without going backwards, prices can vary but I would say an average of $75-80/1HP for having the work done by someone else and $35-$50/1 HP doing it yourself.

Good luck, let us know what you do to your scoot.

OK I just wanted to know a rough guess on what to expect on doing some motor work-

Head work, cams , basically stage 1 or 2 work- wondering if the extra 20+ hp is worth the cost- FOR ME and if so what would be a rough starting point in cost-

that's all- I know there no pat asswer but i I got what I was after-

thanks again

Ride Safe !
