Default Stock parts.

So the thing is I need a new Stator for my '03 Police bike. At least I think I do. The problem is I do not know where to get the parts. I go to the Harley website and they do not have mechanical parts. I also cannot find an OEM stator by doing a google search. I do not know about the rest of you, but I want to get a stock part, or at least one proven to work with my bike. Thanks guys!

Go to a dealer and get what you want and need. They don't list all available parts on the web site. You can also shop for something like a Accel stator that will work and is proven.

Google ronnies h-d. You can get the part number there. You can buy from him or check out other dealers who sell on-line.

Or if you never want to worry about it again, replace the stator and regulator with a modern 3 phase charging system ( Compu Fire or Cycle Electric,) for around $400 and stop worrying about the stators. I went through 3 stock stators before I figured that out.
The current Compufire unit I've got has been in there for 4 years and 80,000 plus miles. Still ticking.
