Yep, a slight typo and it could have been "Any Cali GAYS out there?"

Great article. I wish I could've been there. California is a cesspool of Liberty squashing communist policy.

Which is why I refer to it as "Commiefornia".

I'd love to pack up my family and my Harley and leave. Can't afford it with all of my paycheck being confiscated by the "guvmint" and given to illegals.

Before ya all get your panties in a bunch about California . . . just remember that we have legal Lane Splitting and you do not. Other than a Helmet law, and the real positive advantage of Lane Splitting, I don't think we're any different than the rest of the Union. Additionally, we can ride pretty much 24/7/365 around here.

Might want to check what other states are doing. The percent of the population that is here illegally is greater in: Nevada, Texas, New Jersey and Arizona than it is in California.

Makes no sense. The cost of living in California is one of the highest in the nation. Look around. There are many states that cost less (including housing and taxes). Wish all you that do not like it here would leave. Too many people and too much traffic. I am 3rd generation Californian. We have are problems but it is still a great place to live.

I must agree with this, back in the fifties/sixties it was the best place I can imagine. Then it got too crowded because it was so great. That drove many like myself out of there....................

Panz, Did you make it through Sandpoint last summer?

Word...... I've lived in or have spent time in pretty much all the lower 48 and Cali is where I landed to stay. It's a matter of personal wants and trade offs. My standard of living is better here, I make more money, I have every freedom that I care about without all the negatives I dealt with on the east coast and in the midwest. It's about choices you don't like it here pack it up and go be miserable elsewhere, think you'll find you'll miss aspects of this state pretty quick once the humidity, heat and snow wears on you a bit and you will miss lane splitting.

I'm a California native, born and raised here. I love it. I don't care so much for the urban areas, but there is a lot of rural areas in California. It's some of the best riding in the world.
