2014 Financing
#21
I was just looking through my quote. Eaglemark gave me 4.99 for 60 months with a 712 credit score for my '14 SG, I was happy with that considering my deuce was over 10%. Then I got to reading down the list, they add a $2078 finance charge?! Anyone else get hit with that? Or am I misreading something? If they're charging me 2 grand just to borrow their money on top of their interest rate, they can go *** themselves, I'll look around elsewhere. I was wondering how the salesman came up with the numbers he did when I was going through my trade in and down payment in my head.

I call BS that having cash hurts in negotiating a buying price. I was told that by a HD sales manager that he said he could make more on financing a bike. I told him how short sighted he was as he would loose one sale that year and more the following years. I walked and got a deal elsewhere. I promptly rode over to them and showed the bike and deal. I kept doing that every year. I would stop in and get their price, go elsewhere and buy it cheaper. That manager now is selling appliances.
The dealer that knows how to sell to me when I was looking at a 14 Road King last fall simply said $2K off msrp. I wrote a check. The 13's were marked $2K off.
You would be hard pressed to find any dealer last fall to even take anything off msrp on a 14.
