When you heal and finally climb aboard that new 'Glide, just take a deep breath, thank the big rider upstairs, put one fist in the air and don't look back.

Mike, so sorry for all the pain and suffering you, your wife and family are going through. Just real glad you're still with us and able to tell us what happened. I knowyour continued passion for riding and that new bike soon to be in your garage will help you get through a lot of ruff days to come. Hang in there brother, in time this will all be a bad but distant memory. My thoughts and hopes for a speedy recovery are with you.

With all that has happened to ya, sounds like you have your head on straight and will no doubt be on that shiny new scoot before you know it!
Thanks for sharing with us, your story will make me a little more cautious, I wonder if I haven't been taking my safety for granted recently.

Damn Mike! I'm real sorry to hear your story. Wishing you a strong recovery, and hope you enjoy the SG. I had a bad wreck about 25 years ago, and to this day I'm not as comfortable in a left hand turn as in a right, but never lost my love of riding. I hope you never do either.
