Default thinking of buying.......

a new bike. I don't like riding my current bike two up.
My g/f has just taken a cut in hours and is only working part time which gives us more time for being out and about. I've sold my car as I don't like driving, and she has all new riding gear, so we've said next year we gonna put a lot of miles in on two wheels.

It's either a Kawasaki Voyager custom... I like the stereo
or a 1994 1340 Road King.

She says Harley or nothing

what do you think.????

Your asking that here?

Your probably not going to get much support for the Kawasaki here.

Get the Harley and put a stereo on it. Everybody's happy!

I've heard that the older Harleys like what your looking at are very reliable if you take care of them. I know a guy with a road king around the same year model your looking at. He has close to 200,000 miles on it on a second rebuilt engine. He's a little hard on the bike though.

I had an 07 Nomad. It was a great match for the HD Road King. Good power, smooth and well equipped. But poor mpg and resale.

That is out of the equation when you buy used. go for the one that you like the style, price and is in the best condition.

Having a bike doesn't mean it has to be a Harley. BUT! if that is what she wants you had best listen.

The sound of a carbed evo idling at 150 rpm... That's hard to beat!

I'd tell her to pack sand....No one tells me what to ride.

You want the Kawi, get the Kawi. Europe's full of women.

I have a 1989 FLHS, basically a Road King, & set up the same as the one you are considering.

I love it.

I don't think either way. Get what you want or what makes her happy...or both.
