This is true too. My buddy's 94 Dyna reached 135k on the clock this seaon. That engine has survived a crash in which the rest of the bike had to be rebuilt and just NOW in October did one of his exhaust valves let go and it needed to be shipped off to Harley to be rebuilt. He's never had that engine modified in any way, just regular oil changes and if the mechanic found anything suspect over the winter.

The Moco had some good ideas with the twinkie, but I ain't crazy about the execution. The Evo, to me, is the best engine (air cooled) that HD's ever done. I rode a carb'd '98 FLTR & ride a carb'd '02 FXD, so I ain't knockin' the TC, but you will not go wrong with an Evo.

And let me reiterate- the Evo is easier to wrench on.

I'm wanting a chopper for my 2nd bike & it will be Evo powered.
