thinking of buying.......

a new bike. I don't like riding my current bike two up.
My g/f has just taken a cut in hours and is only working part time which gives us more time for being out and about. I've sold my car as I don't like driving, and she has all new riding gear, so we've said next year we gonna put a lot of miles in on two wheels.
It's either a Kawasaki Voyager custom... I like the stereo
or a 1994 1340 Road King.
She says Harley or nothing
what do you think.????

Do not get the Kawasaki Voyager I had a 2011 Voyager 1700 that I owned for 4 months it was the worst bike I ever owned, I have had 8 Kawasaki's so I am not biased against them but that bike was horrible it handled bad was very top heavy and the gas mileage was poor at best now if you want to get the older 1200 Voyager that bike was great I now own a 2013 FLHTK Limited now that is a great bike very happy with the new Harley

it not starting after just one cold frosty night even with a new battery
the warning lights on the tank failing for the second time due to a little rain
the frame rusting in all the nooks and crannys
the rotors locking to the brake discs overnight after a wet ride coz the rotors are made of such cheap metal
the speedo fogging up on the inside of the glass even though 'It's a sealed unit sir, and that can't happen'
getting my 2 year warranty cut in half.
But honestly, I can live with all that, and the other stuff that I haven't mentioned, because it says Harley on the tank, and on the back of my jacket, now I must be ****ing stoooopid, because I'm buying another one

I'm sure you've done more with $25 than most of us want to know.. But that's kind of off-topic here.

Yeah how does that saying go?
I've spent most of my money on booze, smokes and hookers, the rest I just wasted.

Evo kings are awesome and solid in terms of reliability.
My 97 has yet to leave me. And my buddies with newer bikes are broken more than me.
I like the evo kings because there really isn't much electrical to worry about compared to the fairing fi bikes

Those "old" carb'd Evos are one of the best engines the Moco's ever built. Take care of it & it'll go well over 100K miles w/o ever needing to get into the motor.
Easier to wrench on, as well.

That Road King with the old Evo engine motor will SOUND like music to your ears. I'd go with that. Hell, even she says Harley or nothing! Put a pair of Rineharts on that thing and just, omg, so beautiful to listen to.
