thinking of buying.......

I had a 1996 Evo RK up until just a few months ago. Other than some massive issues with the electrical after 17 or so years, I thoroughly enjoyed the bike. If you read this forum some will have you believing that unless you have a 2014 you can't possibly enjoy riding.
Keep in mind however the 1994 is 4 frames ago (2014, 2009, 1997).. so the passenger room is considerably less than newer bikes. Make sure you have her try it. Its also quite difficult to find any seats and such for it because of the frame.

Yes I already have a 2012 Fatboy.
It's my aversion to HD build quality that stops me buying another brand new one, instead looking at either a metric or an older (1994)RK. I'm not sure but I think (hope) they must have been made better than they are now, which is how HD got it's good reputation.

Better take the evo for a spin, completely different animal from your Fatboy.
And yes the evo engines were almost bullet proof.

You gotta ask??
The Kawi will bore you to tears. And, when you go to sell it, what're you gonna buy with the $25?
