Default Where to Ride Around Columbus Ohio

I've recently moved to Columbus, Ohio from southern Ohio. I didn't appreciate the hills and curvy roads until I moved to the city.

If you live around Columbus; Where do you go for curvy roads? I'm getting to the point where I get excited for round abouts.

I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more curves.

Thanks,

I am originally from South West Ohio (Dayton). I will be coming back beginning of next year. I used to love making the trip to Hocking hills and spending a day or two riding around there. I don't really know any spots around C-Bus. It's about an hour drive depending on where in C-bus you are, and totally worth it. Could definitely relieve that fever.

Not yet; I'll have to give it a shot.

Is it a better ride than the Tail of the Dragon?

It is a pretty good 'copy' ...

Dragon ... kinda in a league of its own ... based on where it is ... and surrounding geography, etc ...

The triple nickel Rt. 555 is the Dragon with steep hills. You will enjoy it, look out for gravel in the turns, bout got me a few times.

Just watch all the videos that you can on YouTube of Rt. 555. One guy talks about taking it slow around the farms. That's where you will see the gravel and mud and horse crap on the road.

I'm on the west side next to Hilliard. I have friend who lives on Mad River mountain ski resort which is northwest of Columbus, we ride up there around Bellefountaine and up by Indian Lake - lots of curvy roads there.
