Well going to have to agitate a few of you Yankees. I know it cold up there, but here in Houston 65 and sunny. Going to be a good riding day through the national forest. Y'all have fun with those snowballs.
Merry Christmas !!!
Enjoy your ride, Tinmanpope. Gotta love Texas, brother. There's a cold front coming through Texas today but won't reach as far south as Houston. The northern half of the state will likely be in the 40's and I'm in that area. With clear skies, the next few mornings will be in the 20's. The only engines I fire up in this weather is the truck, the 4 wheeler and the tractor. Got to put out a couple more round bales of hay for the horses.

Not me. Humidity is generally low in my part of Texas. I prefer to ride in 110° temperatures than the low 40's. I didn't move to Texas for the snow and ice.

New guy here, just got the bike in September. Got about 14" of snow over 2 storms last week, but it's been raining and in the high 30's the last couple days with nights just at freezing. All I'm hoping for is those temps to hang on over 32 tonight so they don't put any more sand and salt down and the rain can wash the rest of the salt off the roads. If it makes it over 35 tomorrow and there's a break in the rain, I'm going out for one last ride before putting her away for the winter.
I got about 200 miles in today, high 30s low 40s , I was feeling pretty good the first 100 or so and then I started getting pretty cold wishing I hadn't ventured that far. Stopped for a burger and coffee and warmed up and was good to go the rest if the way home. All in all it was a good ride ride and I needed it.
Butthead thread but I will give my 02. As long as the roads are clear I ride regardless of the temps. With over a grand invested in Gerbings gear but I ride when people look at me and shake their heads. Girlie post but had to put it in your face. Now be a big girl and take it like a.....
I've had a very busy month with crappy weather so not much riding for me. So when I saw the forecast for record high temps (mid 80's) and the sun was shining, me and the OL went to the early service at church then hit the road for a much needed ride. Ended up on Center St. Checking out the Christmas lights after supper
