Would you rather split lanes or NOT wear a helmet?
I'd like to see it legal to split lanes in all states.
What if a state that wants to implement a law that allows lane splitting but then requires all rider to wear a helmet at all times?
I know that ideally most of us would like to have both choices. However, if you had a choice to have only one which would you pick? Lane Splitting? No helmet law?

No helmet. Around here jagoffs would love nothing more than pinching in riders too close to another vehicle or even opening their car doors just to be an asshat.

Since I live in a state with no helmet law and no lane splitting and I work 3rd shift and don't deal with lots of traffic, I am happy with the way things are.
If I had to pick between the two though, I would pick no helmets.

I would pick no helmets. There is no helmet law in Florida, but I still wear mine most of the time.
But, I've been splitting lanes for years & never got a ticket. The trick is to look & plan far ahead, 'cause no cop behind you is gonna catch you if there's traffic. Just remember there may be cops at the scene of whatever has caused the traffic backup.

I'm not sure which i'd prefer though. I don't always wear a helmet when the weather's warm. Yet I'd like to see lane splitting legal here.

Lane splitting can keep you safe, if you do it right.
There's only one way to not wear a helmet, and it don't keep you safe.
So I vote lane splitting.

Lived in Kali my entire life and I simply do not split lanes anymore. In the Bay Area there are far too many Little People and people texting who either have no clue WTF they are doing or simply not paying attention.
