All the people that say it sucks were only there for a few weeks. Take the advice from the people who lived there.
HDPEARSON, the log cabin brings back some good memories.

I ride through it going to this rally in NY. You may have heard about it Americade. But Pa. is one well kept secret. Great roads very friendly people and good cops that don't think their job is to hazzle bikers.

I live in Western PA but ride in the central PA area several times a year and agree with those about the great roads and great scenic country. The downfall is the weather and it is a downfall. I love calling PA home but winter can be long and does cut into riding time in a big way. But the people in PA are great. Down to earth working mentality which I really like. And as far as winters go there's a ton of things you can do around here then too. Good luck with your move and welcome to our beautiful state!

Just to add my $0.02, I live in Hershey PA about 1.5 hours or less down the road from Danville and PA has a ton of GREAT backroads for cruising around on. The riding season won't be quite as long as you might be used to in Houston, but I ride into the 30s myself and that gives me about 10 mos of riding here in central PA.

I live a couple miles up the road in Bloomsburg, there are plenty of great roads around to ride. I only had my bike sitting for maybe 2 month because the the weather. Vreelands H-D is a great dealer, bought 2 bikes from them and never had any issues. I may not be Houston, but you shoud like it around here.

good ridin. i live 1hr away and my son lives in Danville. i ride year round except snow days and the bars and food and events a nd folks are all a good time. Plenty of dealers within an hr.
