Built a bike dolly
#5
I've got a small scissor jack that I lifted it up with. Then kinda built the dolly around it and lowered it down then slide the jack out. When it's time to remove it for the spring I'll have to unscrew one side of the dolly to slide it out.

NICE... Maybe a little Black and Orange paint would put the killer finishing touch on it.
One little thing that I do when I put my bike on the lift for storage is I put a 6'' piece of water hose on the frame (1 on each side of the Shocks) to help keep pressure off the shock Grommets.
I bought a 12'' long piece of HD - 3/4'' or 7/8'' ID hose, cut in half to make two (6'') long pieces, then make one cut lengthwise on each one to spread and slip over the frame.

Lay the dolly in the driveway (caster-side down), one quick wheelie, and then jab the rear brake at the exact right spot.... and then BAM! Mounted on dolly.

Cleans up the garage space doesn't it , I've made a couple out of angle iron & tubing with casters off ebay that I use dreaded Sears yellow jack with for under $40 for when I do work on others and my lifts tied up , only way to go with a small garage .
