20 is a lil low, about 50% low. 8 is suicide, go for it.

Air psi isnt the problem. Fix the real problem and run the right psi.

20 psi sounds low.............8 psi is for mud trucks. I would say get bigger fenders.

Eight pounds the tire is going to run hot, wear out faster, feel squirrely and if you hit any serious pot holes bend a rim, ruin a tire. Plus it will look like it is low all the time and when you loose any pressure you are screwed big time and wont know it because you are so used to looking at it flat.

8? Are you joking? That's for ATVs and RZRs, not for Harley's. Not only will the ride by terrible, you are putting your life on the line. And, 20 is also a big problem! Fix the real problem and run the tire pressure at what the manufacturer recommends. SJ Ron

Somebodies full of **** I ran rigids for years and you never go under 20PSI in a tire or you run a real chance of the tire separating off the rims . We did run them between 25 and 30 psi to help with the road jars and not chipping teeth but no lower .

Another thing less air pressure allows the tire to deform and they can rub in tight spots , air it up and watch the sidewalls pull in a bit as the crown raises .
