Scratt, if a brother asks, he has his reasons and if he is sick, there is zero question... Absolutely! You did what was right by your brother and that is a memory nobody can take away. I hope if I am in that position that I will have a brother that gives me a last ride. And if someone is so insecure they can't deal with it, you know what they can do....

God bless you man!

I take my 16 year old son with me all the time. He looks like another adult on the back with his helmet on. I have taken him on big group runs and local bike nights. I really don't give a flying crap what others think about me. He loves it and that's all that matters to me!

Its only gay if you get chubby and think of a guy instead of a girl. For a dying friend I would have done it in a heartbeat. Very standup of you.

An old thread but an interesting read. The OP did something that changed 2 lives with that one ride. If I ever had the chance I'd do the same, or anyone else for that matter. If someone has a problem with it....who cares.

Tell Lance to load up. It would be an honor to haul the seven time Tour winner.

My first ever ride on a motorcycle was on the back of my brother's 500cc Honda, sometime in the late '70s. Never forgot it (although the actual memory of it now is really just of speed blurs and noise) and it's surely what lit the fire.

I'll give a ride to anyone. Anyone who things it might "be gay" or might turn them into a homosexual is an idiot, and I have no time for them.
