Yea.. talking floorboard inserts, rear floorboards, Chrome FB covers.detach sissy bar, touring rear pillion and sissy bar pad, Led turn lights. Visors on front lights. axle covers, spark plug covers, and a lot of other little covers and caps. all adds up fast as we all know.

Dealer doesn't care about your bolt ons and won't pay you extra for them. In fact, they usually prefer a stock bike. Take everything off, put the bike back to stock and then sell the bolt ons for what you can get.

When you trade in give them the bike as close to stock as you can make it. The trade in value does not include anything you've added to it, only what NADA or KBB values it.
This was explained to me by a salesman today while I was talking to him about trading my Ultra for a new Limited.

Yeah I remember when I first bought her they said when I am ready to trade her in to come back. I told the salesman I'll probably keep her a while and he said thats OK, the miles don't really matter on a Harley trade in.

Different story now that she nearing 50K.

Looking hard at a SG, wishing they still had the RG.
Really Dont need or want a radio. Test Rode a King when the frames changed.
Just didn't ring my bell at the time. Liked our Heritage as much.

Only do 1 trip extended trip a YR and the ST G would be OK,

Wife and I still love our Heritage, and she running GREAT, so maybe just a fresh one may be in the works. Ours fits our needs in every way, and for me it does the trips fine..

Not really sure Yet,, just an Itch...

When I traded my 2010 Ultra Limited for my 2012 CVO Street Glide, the dealer told me to strip everything I could off my Limited.

Only traded one bike in. I stripped it to stock. Latter I could not stand not having that bike. I bought it back. Then put everything back on it. After that I decided never to trade one in again. I have stuck to that policy.

However, I'm running out of room in the garage.
