I'll let anybody I trust ride my bike...I try not to worry too much about my possesions...its only a bike. It's well insured and can be replaced. (on the other hand, most of them don't want to ride it because they know how much I have put into it)

I have a couple of friends that I've rode with for many a year. None of us have ridden each others' bikes. Never a word said about it that I can remember.

Son in law asked to borrow my Sportster for a day ride a couple of years ago.
I had a good laugh at that!

No, I don't loan my bikes....

Only a select few. My nephews and a couple of close friends. I have to be able to cut them out of the will, or they can afford to get me another bike.

Same here. I have friends and family that I let ride my bikes. Before I bought my first Harley (2001) and joined this forum I had never heard of it being taboo. In fact, at my youngest son's college graduation party, one of his buddies showed up on his new fat boy. I ask him if I could take it for a ride. After riding it, I bought a new Harley for myself the following week. If I hadn't ridden his, I probably wouldn't own a Harley today.

Replacing the bike is the easy part. Its the liability that scares the **** out of me. Question is, do you have enough liability to cover the injuries of rider and passenger or the accident that they may cause someone else to have? I've been sued before, it can cost you way more than the bike. Like every thing you own.

Only one, but his two shovelhead's and one EVO are nicer then mine. I don't think i have to worry about it. He has offer up his bikes to me, but unless i can pay to fix them should something happen, i won't.
