Do you let others ride your bikes?

I'll let anybody I trust ride my bike...I try not to worry too much about my possesions...its only a bike. It's well insured and can be replaced. (on the other hand, most of them don't want to ride it because they know how much I have put into it)

I have a couple of friends that I've rode with for many a year. None of us have ridden each others' bikes. Never a word said about it that I can remember.
Son in law asked to borrow my Sportster for a day ride a couple of years ago.
I had a good laugh at that!
No, I don't loan my bikes....

Yes I do.
It's just a hunk of iron. I have plenty of insurance and have good relationships with my long time friends. I have no emotional attachment to any inanimate object. Somewhat of a paradox because among my friends I have a reputation of being **** to the point of obsessiveness about how I keep my stuff.

Replacing the bike is the easy part. Its the liability that scares the **** out of me. Question is, do you have enough liability to cover the injuries of rider and passenger or the accident that they may cause someone else to have? I've been sued before, it can cost you way more than the bike. Like every thing you own.
