Do you let others ride your bikes?

Of course not! That goes for my car too. The only ones I know that ride/drive my vehicles are the mechanics at the dealerships. The have to and I'm not crazy about that.
When I sold my '75, the guy asked if he could ride it. I told him no but I'd take him anywhere he wanted to go. He ended up buying it.

My thoughts are, I was taught that most accidents by experienced riders were caused by a lack of being familiar with a bike during an emergency. All bikes are similar but can have enough difference to be a problem during emergency breaking....etc. So will this rider cover the damage if needed? Do you trust that?
One the other hand, I'd let a friend come get my bike before I allowed a tow truck to move it, if I had a choice.

I don't let anyone ride my Harley for several reasons.
IF I had another non-HD bike that I wasn't so attached to I would consider it IF they were an experienced rider...Say for example if I had a KLR 650 as a second bike I would consider letting another experienced person ride it.
I fit got dropped or scratched...no biggie.
Any HD in my garage...nope, not going to happen.

No one rides my bike and I do not want to ride theirs either. Like the others said you pay me my price and you can have it to ride then. If they want to ride one then go buy one. I did sell my 2006 RK rode it over to the guys house. He had already paid for it. He wanted to go around the block so he did, his wife standing beside me. He approaches us puts of the front brake barely moving and dumps it right in front of us. Thank goodness for crash bars. LOL!!!
