Noone has ever asked ! I let the pops in law and my son ride the wifes Dyna but as far as I know nobody has even sat on any of mine.
It's just never come up.
I'd probably let somebody who knew how to ride try it. BUT I had a friend who's never been on a bike sit on it and it made me nervous. Haha also helps that my bike isn't worth a whole lot to begin with.
My father and father in law have both been riding Harley's for 30+ years. They've both rode mine and I've rode theirs. They are the only ones allowed riding it.
When I asked this question I did not expect the response I have gotten, I figured a few would answer some would be on one side of the fence or another, but there were some good points brought about in this post and the key issue even for those who do allow it is the trust issue. I guess that's my biggest issue is the trust issue. There are a handful of lifelong friends that I probably would allow to ride my bike, basically another way I look at it is do I trust this person with $18,000 cash to hold on too.
