Do you let others ride your bikes?

The only person I'd let ride my Deluxe is my father. He's got more experience on two wheels than anyone else I know and if he dropped it, I know he would take care of any costs in repair. There is no other person on earth I'd let ride it.
When I first got it a dude I work with just went over and sat on it without even asking. I'm pretty sure anyone who was outside that day would never ask to ride it. I know for a fact, he'll never sit on it again.

I ride with a bunch of buddies, and we trade off bikes all the time. They want to try out the different types of bikes, check out a new seat, engine mod or handle bars.
Not a real biggie.
Everybody understands that if they break anything while they are riding, it is up to them to fix it.

There's 4, maybe 5 guys I'd let ride my bikes.
With the exception of one they're all also my best friends, and I know ALL of them would have as much respect and care for my bike as I'd have for theirs.
And the wife...I've let her ride my bikes.
Well.....with the brand new CVO bike, I'm probably a little less likely to let ANYONE
ride it, but then again like I said I actually trust those few people enough I probably would.

It all depends on who they are and the circumstances...
If it's someone I know and they're generally a responsible adult who clearly owns a bike and knows how to ride, I don't get my panties in a wad if they want or need to ride one of my bikes. Likewise, I rarely refuse an offer to give someone else's bike a ride... just to check it out or to troubleshoot a problem.

I do not allow "just anyone" to drive my truck... or ride my bike.
That out of the way... yes... I have, and will again, allow those I know and trust, to operate my vehicles.
There is a difference between some one, I've seen around, and a "FRIEND"... and frankly, there are several friends that I would not allow.
I grew up in an era, when riders were not as common.... one learned quickly which ones could be trusted, and which one could not.
We rode each others bike, and we all helped working on then... custom paint, fabrication, and sometimes just to show off...
